Source:  Pacific Coast (California and north).  INQUIRY
Color:  Pale pinkish-brown to almost white.
Pattern:  Not distinct.
Characteristics:  Good working properties; strength between Red Gum and American tulipwood.
Uses:  Unexposed structural parts for furniture; core stock.
Availability:  Rare as veneer; limited as lumber
